Transaction Denied
It is a very discrete message at the bottom of the CSprint pop-up window. If the user clicks on "print" and enters their username and password, then clicks OK, but the pop-up window does NOT go away, it is likely that there is a message in the bottom left corner of the window that says "Transaction denied".
This message may appear for one of several reasons.
- The username/password combination was entered incorrectly. A typo in either field would generate this error message. If this is the cause, simply click on "print" again, reenter the username and password correctly, and the job should be released.
- There may be insufficient funds in the users account to cover the print job. If reentering the username/password still yields the error message, it is likely lack of money in the account.
The user can log onto the
Commodore Card web page, login there and add money to their account. Alternatively, one could cancel the print job, resubmit fewer pages to print and see if there is sufficient funds to cover those.
It would be highly desirable if the client displayed a specific error message when the denial is due to insufficient funds. This is an enhancement request, but is not currently available.
