All public access printers in libraries and in most computer labs will use this single system, linked to your [[http://www.vanderbilt.edu/commodorecard|Commodore Cash ]] account for automatic payment.

In most locations with Windows based computers, users will see a pop-up when initiating a print job, and will type in their [[https://vunetid.vanderbilt.edu/|VUNet ID]] and e-password (or alternate userid and pin for those without a [=VUNet=] ID) to
authorize the print job.

For users who have Macintosh or other non-Windows operating system computers, the system requires a print release station, where users can select their print job and authenticate (with a card swipe or username/password) to authorize the release of queued print requests.  Windows laptops that load the [=CSprint=] client, can authenticate and release print jobs with a username and password.
