VUPrint, the pay-for-print service on the Vanderbilt campus, is designed to provide sustainable public access printing for students and others at a variety of locations across campus. All public access printers in libraries, and in most labs will use this single system, linked to the Commodore Cash accounts for automatic payment.

In most locations with Windows based computers, users will see a pop-up when initiating a print job, and will type in their VUNet ID and e-password (or alternate userid and pin for those without a VUNet ID) to authorize the print job.

In locations with Macintosh computers, the system uses a print release station, where users can swipe their Commodore Card to authorize the release of queued print requests.
